| | HOLLA READERS! I know I've went missing for a month by now but not my fault. I have no internet access for nearly 3 weeks. I don't even know how I survived. Also I was busy working but not anymore.  Jobless nao but I am hunting for Part time job like a promoter or something. If you know any job please tell me. =3
The day after I resigned, I whoosh straight to my favourite state, my *crossing finger* future place to settle down a.k.a Penang.
Going there I was having many expectations because my friends and I was hoping things that happened during Penang 1.0 in 2009 will happened again but better. Means we will actually agree to go when a cute ang moh asked us for coffee. FO 2009 L.
Lets just say this time our Penang 2.0 was nothing like how we expected.

We took an early bus down to Penang. Got a beautiful suite at Paradise Hotel or nao known as Rainbow Paradise at Tanjung Bungah (there is a funny inside joke for the name ).
Without any delay, after we checked in and whoosh straight for YUMMEH PENANG FOOD at places near Komtar.

Finding those famous stalls by walking under scorching hot sun can be quite a hell until we walked passed ST. XAVIER and I told my girlfriends lets just go in and checked it out. If kena kick out then kick out lah. No one know us here anyway =p

So we decided to do something random and just walked in. The guard let us in though. So tempted to go to their canteen and buy water cause we were dehydrated but before we could go any further, got kick out by a teacher saying we dress inappropriately >.<

We actually walked very far to check out some place like the Chong Fatt Tze Mansion (don't know spell correctly or not) but we reached there at 3p.m and last tour at 3p.m. Then nevermind, we walked further to checkout the Penang Art Museum but it closes on Friday.

We gave up and decided to go back to our hotel and head the beach instead.

If you have read my Singapore post HERE, you will know that I love seaside a lot. In the day time, it brightens up your day and while at night, it gives you peace.

Our hotel has a private beach. So, we just need press the lift *ding* and walah! The Beach. What we do there? I will let our photos do the talking. The amount of pictures we took there was like as though we did a photoshoot there. lol.

In 2009, we passed by Hard Rock Hotel while going to the end of the world for seafood. So, this time, we said we must check out Hard Rock Hotel for sure and we did. *check list tick*

When we walked in to the hotel, there was a gig playing at their lobby/ lounge sort but it ended very fast. We strolled around the hotel and just WAAAAHHH at the beauty of a hotel that cost the price of my kidney for a one night stay.
Then we headed to the HARD ROCK CAFE and macaroni cheeseball, entrance fees cost RM35! Luckily at that time it includes a glass of free drink. I was'nt keen at first because I'm allergic to alcohol but then I don't want to order Malta only cause not worth the money at all.
So I ended up ordering 42 below and it actually taste really good. I drank like 3-4 sips? Then i drank 3-4 glass of plain water to make sure I pee all the alcohol content out. FML. haha

The band playing inside Hard Rock Cafe is sooo GOOD!!! *TEARS ROLLING* After hearing them, I'm willing to pay RM35 all over again even without drinks just to hear them. Gosh, really really good and hello! GOOD LOOKING saxophonist and lead singer!!

During their first break, the keyboardist gave my girl friend sue li his number HOHOHO. Well, pretty girl mah, what to do. The lead singer was so nice. During the 2nd break, he came up to us and talked to us and all. <3 melt.
One very funny thing was this 2 fellow, one ahjeossi and one ahjumma were dancing the whole time flirting which other. The ahjumma was really drunk and the ahjeossi was definitely trying his luck to get lucky =p.

Correction, I think not counted as ahjeossi... more like halabeoji. We end up calling him uncle HEFNER cause he reminded us of HUGH HEFNER a lot...
The night ended with a hefty taxi fare but okay lah. Manage to negotiate and get the best price they can offer. We bought some booze... I bought Root Beer =p and some chips to keep the night going back in our room.
Next day, we went for more NOMMING on Penang Food but then this time, it's really sucky except for the fried stuff which is really yummy. The whole trip I was definitely putting my mandarin class lessons to good use *pats on the head*.

We sent sue li off to KOMTAR because she left a day earlier than us. Randomly walking around with not much penny left, we were thinking whether places like 'Snake Temple, Butterfly Farm, Kek Lok Si' but ended up going to Straits Quay. Apparently the happening spot lah.

The bus dropped us off 200 M away from Straits Quay but I think the sign board lie one loh cause I think we took forever to reach there. HMP.  OH, apparently QUAY is pronounce as KEYYYYY... not KUIH. Malu myself few times in front of my friends.

The Hennessy Artistry event was held at the Penang ART CONVENTION CENTRE that night. Guess who I bumped into there? Mag! We know her as our high school classmate but you prolly know her as Ms. Universe Malaysia Finalist.
It was so random because we don't get a chance to meet up back in Ipoh but bumper into her at another state. LOL. She was there to cover the event as a blogger. She was kind enough to actually got us passes for the event. her lots.

We were contemplating and kept arguing back in our hotel whether to go or not because Eva and YK said they don't have dresses to go. I don't want to go if they are not going and also because I am not a drinker/smoker or people who like places like that but I thought it will be good for me as a blogger to see more things.
Straits Quay transformed into such a glam spot from what we saw in the afternoon.

All those girls on that night are like super gorgeous with their stunning outfit and killer heels. I feel so ashamed to go in because I was so under dress. I swear Penang breed super pretty guys and good looking guys.
When I stepped in to the place, I felt like I just went to NARNIA. It was so foreign to me. I have never go to places like this, Heck, I don't even go to any clubs. The fact that me this lil small ipoh girl being there really intimidates me but luckily I have Angie there with me.

When the event finally starts and the emcees stepped out, I decided to take pictures and sort of cover the night but my camera battery exhausted the very moment I want to snap. #FAILED as a blogger.
I went out to borrow Eva's camera but ended up spending the next i think like 2 hours at starbucks drinking what I LOVE MOST COFFEEEEEE!!! and getting to know eva's cousin a.k.a THE COUSIN a.k.a Daniel. Since the cousin won't read this blog I think... I shall admit that he is actually quite cute haha.

We went back for the Hennessy event prolly around 12 with the cousin. Thank God this time we were'nt lost lambs anymore. The cousin led us in apparently there is a lift to take. FOL. It was bloody 6 floors and we did'nt know about it the whole time!

The cousin was just saying Hi to almost everyone when we stepped in. I was thinking hhhmmmm "he must come to all this stuff a lot." We actually manage to get ourselves a table.. LIKE FINALLY!!!!
The first half and the second half was soooo different. The second half we can see vomit everywhere... People just like KONKED OUT.. Some get high and some just emo. Quote from eva, it was like a stock market crashed crisis just happened.
I swear if The Cousin was'nt there, I would be so so terrified! Random people just come to you and start hitting on you. I have never faced this sort of stuff before and it was just so uncomfortable for me the whole time. Nevertheless, it was quite fun because you get to laugh at all the things that drunk people say.

One fellow came and hit on us and asking us are we alone cause at that time The Cousin went to get some drinks and Thank God he came back just in time and I told that fellow "No, we are with him (pointing at the cousin)".
He left but sadly, that fellow decided to come back bringing another friend and hit on Angelyn. It was so epic, the fellow was like "From the way you stand... I can see that you are the youngest in your family" WAHAHAHA... i thought lines like this only happens on TV. Pity Angelyn...
When he comes near me, he asked me is The Cousin my boyfriend? I looked at The Cousin hoping for some help but The Cousin was busy shooting down some drinks from his friends so I decided to say "YEAAAA.." hoping to shoo him off but he went on and on bla bla bla bla bla and ended with "HOLD ON TIGHT TO HIM!" My mind was like wtf?

I was really thankful that The Cousin was there the whole time because I would be so lost and freaked out because many things happened and I don't think I should say it here. The music was really good that night or should I say the DJ was awesome even for me who aint a fan of electro, techo type of music. However, I don't dance but it was fun to see others doing so.
45) Strangers next table to ours
I was quite a party pooper because I don't dance, I don't drink. I just sat down there holding tight to my BB worry that eva might contact me and can't reach me. The Cousin's friends were very persistent in asking me to put away my phone, drink and dance.
I lost count on how many times I say "NOooooo..." As drunk as they were, i had a good time because they made me laugh with many soh things they did which I bet they don't remember the next day after the hangover. haha.
I remembered one guy came to me and asked "Do you smoke?" "Nope." "Come! Drink!" "No. I don't drink." " I don't believe you. How can someone be so good. Don't drink and don't smoke." I look at him and say "I am really that good." LOL LOL.
It really got me thinking when that guy made such statement. Are we really the RARE SPECIES of this mankind that people don't believe we exist? I learned to accept that many people smoke but I just did'nt realize that those who don't smoke are consider RARE or almost non-existent.
The night finally ended like at 2 a.m and we had to trouble The Cousin to send us back to our hotel. It was such a tiring night. Angelyn did'nt remember anything the next day and I bet The Cousin's friends did'nt either.
We talked about whether should we actually meet them sober the next time we go down to Penang again. That still remains as a question. I won't mind but it will be rather awkward for certain party. haha.
THERE YOU GO. THE END OF PENANG 2.0. PENANG 3.0 shall be coming soon and we decided to go knock on Lim Guan Eng's door and take a picture with him. Just saying. haha.
